Friend of the Highline

One of my favourite places in New York has to be the Highline park that stretches from the Meatpacking District over the streets to Chelsea. I had a great walk along these disused raised rail-road tracks turned public park yesterday with my future sister-in-law. The Park is looking the best I have seen it, see for yourself...

    A little greener than when I was lucky enough to see it (in the middle of the Christmas snow storms)!

    It is an amazing use of space and something that can (and should) be copied elsewhere in the world.

    This was a massive highlight of my trip to NYC. It was great just wandering around. Don't forget to check out a bell for every minute. (from the future sister in law).
